Over the past two years, Coldwell Banker Preferred Cares, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Preferred, has hosted the Coldwell Banker Preferred Cares Harry C. Caparo, Jr. Memorial Golf Outing. Held at the Plymouth Country Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, local sponsors, advertisers and guests have participated in the event and raised $40,000, which has been donated to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. The event features a full day of golf, tennis, a paint and wine activity and entertainment, followed by dinner, an awards ceremony and raffle.
The golf outing is held in honor of the late Harry C. Caparo Jr., who in 1976 founded what is today known as Coldwell Banker Preferred, one of the most successful real estate companies in the region. The event venue was close to Caparo’s heart. As a long standing member, he celebrated his special passion for golf on the Plymouth Country Club course for nearly 30 years. Harry was very famous for his fast play and the camaraderie he shared with his friends. A round with Harry had all the elements that make golf such a wonderful game.
The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, the first of its kind, creates, and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. It provides stability and vital resources to families so they can get and keep their children healthy and happy.
We invite you to join us in Harry’s honor on October 5, 2017 to support Coldwell Banker Preferred Cares and the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House in a fun day of golf, tennis, paint & wine, dinner, cocktails, raffles, and more.
The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House is the world’s first Ronald McDonald House and serves as the model for over 347 Houses in 38 countries. Their mission is to create a community of comfort and hope for families of seriously ill children through a wide range of innovative programming including two Ronald McDonald Houses and Ronald McDonald Camp as well as two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and a Hospitality Kiosk at local hospitals.
